Quote Follow-Up Email Template

Check in on a quote or proposal without being pushy. Pick a tone, fill in the details, and copy a reply you can send. This is a written template, not AI output, and no account is needed.

Your details

Warm for most customers, concise when they want the answer fast, formal for contracts and first contact.

Your reply

Anything still in [square brackets] needs a detail from you.

How this reply is built

Each scenario has one written template per tone. The page inserts what you typed into the marked gaps and changes nothing else. No AI is involved, and nothing you type leaves your browser.

These are written templates, not AI-generated text. Read each reply before you send it and adjust it to your own policies. Everything runs in your browser. Nothing you type here is uploaded or stored.

Tips for this reply

  • Offer help, not pressure: ask what they would like explained or changed.
  • Mention when you sent it so the original is easy to find.
  • State a validity date only if the quote really has one.

Common questions

How long should I wait before following up on a quote?

Long enough for them to have read it and discussed it. If you agreed a decision date, follow up just after it.

How many times should I follow up?

Two or three spaced-out messages is usually the limit. Make the last one a polite close that leaves the door open.

What if they say the price is too high?

Ask what budget they had in mind and whether a smaller scope would work, instead of discounting straight away.
