Support Follow-Up Email Template

Check that a fix worked and leave the door open. Pick a tone, fill in the details, and copy a reply you can send. This is a written template, not AI output, and no account is needed.

Your details

Warm for most customers, concise when they want the answer fast, formal for contracts and first contact.

Your reply

Anything still in [square brackets] needs a detail from you.

How this reply is built

Each scenario has one written template per tone. The page inserts what you typed into the marked gaps and changes nothing else. No AI is involved, and nothing you type leaves your browser.

These are written templates, not AI-generated text. Read each reply before you send it and adjust it to your own policies. Everything runs in your browser. Nothing you type here is uploaded or stored.

Tips for this reply

  • Say what you actually did, so the customer can tell you if it did not take.
  • Ask one direct question: is it working now?
  • Keep the same thread so the history stays in one place.

Common questions

When should I follow up after a support ticket?

Once you believe the issue is fixed, and again a day or two later if the customer has not confirmed.

What if the customer does not reply?

One more short check-in is reasonable. After that, close the thread and say they can reply at any time to reopen it.

Should I ask for a review in the follow-up?

Not in the same message. Confirm the fix first, and ask for feedback separately once they have said it works.
